InterLegis Announces 2008 Sedona Conference Participation
Dallas, TX – March 12, 2008 – InterLegis, Inc., a Dallas-based innovator of Web-based litigation and electronic discovery technologies, announced today the company’s 2008 participation in The Sedona Conference, the legal industry’s prominent research and educational institute dedicated to the advancement of law and policy in the areas of antitrust law, complex litigation and intellectual property rights. In addition to the company’s sponsorship of The Sedona Conference® Institute (TSCI) programs, InterLegis President Kevin Carr is participating in two working groups and will attend this year’s annual meeting of the RFP+ Vendor Panel.
InterLegis is sponsoring TSCI’s Second Annual Program on Getting Ahead of the eDiscovery Curve: Strategies to Reduce Costs & Meet Judicial Expectations being held March 13-14 at the Westin Horton Plaza San Diego in San Diego, California. TSCI is the continuing legal education extension of The Sedona Conference® Working Group Series. Through TSCI, attorneys, judges, and other professionals receive high-quality legal instruction at locations close to their work, at a low cost, and in a traditional classroom-style format.
Carr also will represent the company at the 2008 annual meeting of the RFP+ Vendor Panel in Sedona April 3-4th, and is participating in the following two working groups that are part of the Sedona Working Group Series:
- Electronic Document Retention and Production, the group charged with the development of principles and best practices recommendations for electronic document retention and production; and
- International Electronic Information Management, Discovery and Disclosure, the group charged to serve as a global forum and think tank for sharing information, developing best practices, and advising and educating on matters of national and international law and policy regarding the disclosure/discovery, management, and protection of electronically stored information.
