Java Developer
Location: Dallas, TX
We are seeking a java developer to participate in the development and implementation of high quality applications. Candidates must have knowledge of the principles and practices of systems analysis and design, software development and documentation.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in Object Oriented Programming and Java
- Strong GUI design skills in either Java Swing or Java SWT
- Strong knowledge of threading principles
- Experience with J2EE principles and back-end programmming
- Experience with XML writing, parsing, validation and XSLT transformations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Action oriented, capable of solving complex technical problems both independently and in a team environment
- Highly motivated and resourceful
- Organized, methodical, and detail oriented
- Proficient at personal time management and prioritization
- Experience with Unix/Linux
- Experience with SQL queries and relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL
- Experience with Hibernate
- Experience with web services such as SOAP, XMLRPC
- Ability to balance complex requirements and constraints and clearly present tradeoffs
- Ability to learn and constructively synthesize information on product functionality and uses from different sources
